Sibenik is home the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cathedral of St. Jacob, which was built by Juraj Dalmatinac in the 15th century, and old patrician houses, palaces, and fortresses that now offer fantastic views over the city and countryside.

 

Trains from Zagreb and Split pull into Sibenik, but most visitors arrive by bus, as well as ship.
 

Trogir and Split airports are served by the domestic carrier Croatia Airlines, as well as international airlines such as Lufthansa, Swissair, KLM and other major names.
