home > Brazil > Sao Paulo

This sprawling city with a population of about ten to sixteen million was developed with little thought or time for aesthetics, but a few of the splendid nineteenth and early twentieth century public buildings has been preserved. The city does have a vigorous music and arts scene and some fine cuisine.

Four train stations serve Sao Paulo, Estação Bresser train station, located on Av.
