Local trains pull into the central São Bento Station, and buses from the south arrive at the Rua Alexandre Herculano, and from the north at Rua Dr Alfredo Magalhães 46. Taxis are the easiest way of getting around.

Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro international airport is located 10km north of the city centre and is served by international airlines. The Aerobus service is free is you fly TAP.
