Philadelphia today is a mixture of old and new. Situated some 60 miles inland, it's the country's busiest freshwater port. It is a stroller's paradise of restored Georgian and Federal structures. The city is filled with arts, crafts, and music for every body’s taste, and boulevards made for street fairs and parades all year long. The world-renown Philadelphia Orchestra performs in a new concert hall. Philadelphia offers some of the best dining at the finest restaurants.

Staying in the city center, the best way to get around is on foot or taking the bus, which stops at all major attractions. The subway system serves the four ends of the city but not the city center. A seasonal passenger ferry, offers service between Philadelphia and Camden, Otherwise, taxis are also plentiful around tourist destinations.

Philadelphia International is located 8 miles from downtown in the southwest part of the city. A shuttle buses service will make most requested stops downtown as well as to the suburbs. Otherwise car rental and limousines are available. Taxis at the airport are plentiful but expensive.
