Now the third most popular destination in the USA, Orlando has some amazing attractions that bring visitors flocking to its gates. Disney World, which is a self-contained city with four main parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom drew over 10 million visitors in its first year. Orlando Seaworld, an amusement park, aquarium and beer garden, and Universal Studios Florida, a combination working movie studio and theme park offer great entertainment for the family and would-be movie stars.

Amtrak trains have direct links to Miami, Gainesville, and other northern destinations. The Amtrak station is 1.6km (1mi) south of Central Orlando. Greyhound buses run from Orlando to every major city in Florida. Within the city are an efficient and inexpensive bus system, taxis, and car rental agencies.

Orlando International Airport (MCO), located in the far southeastern corner of the city, is served by almost all major airlines, and is the biggest airport in Central Florida.
