 Manhattan's transportation system is phenomenal, going quickly and easily one can use a combination of subways, buses, and cabs. Although, walking, can get you there faster. So pack your most comfortable shoes and hit the pavement, it's the best, cheapest, and most appealing way to experience the city.

Three major airports serve New York City: John F. Kennedy International in Queens, about 15 miles from Manhattan; LaGuardia, also in Queens, about 8 miles from Midtown; and Newark International in New Jersey, 16 miles from Midtown. Transport offered are buses and shuttles and private car services, available 24 hours a day to and from the airport.
