home > Brazil > Natal Situated on the banks of the Rio Potengi, Natal is a popular holiday destination for many Brazilians who come here to revel in the sun and sand of its never-ending beaches.   The central bus station is located on Praça Augusto Severo, and from here or Avenida Rio Branco, visitors can get local buses for around town or the beaches. Long distance buses arrive at the Rodoviária, and buses, minibuses or taxis provides transport to and around the city.   The Augusto Severo Airport is located about 15km south of the city centre on the BR-101 highway, with bus and taxi transport to town.
