| Maine offers year-round opportunities for watching wildlife. Bald eagles, osprey, river otters are spotted regularly during the winter at the Milford Hydro Station. During the spring and fall, migrating and breeding warblers can be found in the nearby forests and wetlands. North, or inland, where mountainous forests are dotted with lakes, and only a few roads making it ideal territory for hiking and canoeing and moose spotting. Major points of interest are Bar Harbour, Acadia National Park, Allagash National Wilderness Waterway, Wadsworth-Longfellow House in Portland, Roosevelt Campobello International Park, and the St. Croix Island National Monument.
