The easiest and practical way to travel is on the Underground or "tube." This subway system runs daily with lines out to the suburbs. Various rates are available. “Cabs “are the most comfortable and best designed in the world or use Minicabs, especially when the Tube stops running. Heavy traffic makes biking in London's difficult, but biking in the parks is a pleasure.

London Heathrow Airport--Located west of London, is one of the world's busiest airports. It has four terminals or there is Gatwick Airport, which is closer to London. There is a fast train service from both airports. It takes +- 50 minutes by Underground to central London. Taxis can be more convenient, but can be expensive.
