Greyhound buses run between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, from where travelers have access to most of the USA, and Frequent Broward County Transit (BCT) buses carry passengers on local runs. Tri-Rail trains stop in Fort Lauderdale, situated between Miami and Palm Beach, and the massive cruise port welcomes international sailors. The major car rental companies are represented, and bikes and inline skates can be hired at a number of agencies. Water-taxis operate throughout the canals and waterways of Fort Lauderdale.
