Flagstaff is a community rich in cultural diversity, beauty, and history as well as amazing educational, recreational and scientific opportunities. Of the area's national monuments, two preserve ancient Indian ruins and one preserves an otherworldly landscape of volcanic cinder cones. North of the city is the San Francisco Peaks the site of the Arizona Snowbowl ski area. Ride the chairlift for a stunning view that stretches 70 miles north to the Grand Canyon. There's not all that much to see in the town itself, but the countryside in every direction is worth exploring.

 

Getting around can either is by car rentals or taxis. Flagstaff provides a public bus transit within the city. Hotels, restaurants, bars and shops are within easy strolling range of the city centre.
 

Pulliam Airport is situated 3 miles south of Flagstaff. Is served by America West from Phoenix. Car rental and taxis are available transport from the airport.
