Cardiff has built itself into a progressive and optimistic city, since it was made the capital of Wales in 1955, but in the process has lost its Welsh feel, but for all that is well worth visiting.

Cardiff central train station and the bus station are located off Wood Street to the southwest of the city centre. Both local and national buses, and taxis, serve the city.

Cardiff International Airport’s Airbus X91, X45 and 345 service runs between the airport and the city centre, and the official taxi operator for the airport, Cardiff Air Taxis is located within the arrivals hall.
