Sheltered below the legendary shape of Table Mountain is the impressive city of Cape Town. This extraordinary city is instantly recognizable, and few cities in the world possess its beauty and style. Table Mountain divides the city into distinct areas with public gardens, wilderness, forests, hiking routes, vineyards and sought-after residential areas sprawling down its lower slopes. From the top of the Mountain, you can see the city centre, the harbour, the majestic Twelve Apostles, the spectacularly beautiful Atlantic seaboard, several historic vineyards, the awe-inspiring Botanical Gardens and the warmer False Bay, which bends towards the dignified towering headland of Cape Point.
