 Trains and buses stop at the Transit Centre on Roma Street in the centre of town, or Central Train Station. Rockets, speedy commuter buses, and Citxpress serve the city as well as the local buses and taxis. The Citytrain has seven lines in the network, and there is a well-organized ferry service on the Brisbane River.

Brisbane Airport is located 9km northwest of the city centre and hosts international and domestic flights. The Airtrain offers the quickest access to the city, but the Skytrain bus and taxis also offer ground transportation.
