Getting around varies from, bus, boat/ ferry, train and subway. Known as "America's Walking City," it advocates, walking the streets and using the subway to navigate Boston’s many attractions as highly recommended. Sight seeing can be hindered by the lack of parking. Boston's public transportation system is excellent and inexpensive.

Logan International airport is across the harbor, from downtown. Has five terminals, identified by letters A to E. Be aware that some airlines use different terminals. Due to tough security measures, curbside parking is forbidden and parking in the terminal garage has been severely restricted. Best to use public transport or taxi. Various boat companies run between the airport and downtown destinations.
