Once a glittering playground of the rich, famous, and wannabe’s, hard times fell when the fickle jet-setters disappeared and took her glitz with them, so now the city shines less brightly. There are measures in place to rebuild its former glory though, and gamblers still find the ageing beauty to have charms aplenty.

Several domestic airlines connect Atlantic City to Detroit, Cleveland, Philadelphia, New York and several cities in Florida. The International airport in Philadelphia is an hour’s train ride away with links to Europe, the Caribbean and Canada.
