Atlanta is situated in the northern half of the state of Georgia, A region of rolling hills wedged between the rugged mountains and the flat coastal plains. Attractions and activities include the Atlanta Cyclorama, CNN Studio Tours, Martin Luther King Jr. museum, Historic District and Six Flags Over Georgia. Atlanta has something for almost every visitor. Spring and autumn are the ideal times to visit the city. The city doesn't lend itself to walking between major neighbourhoods, so take a car, taxi, or MARTA to get around.

Hartsfield, Atlanta International Airport is located 16km (10 miles) south of Atlanta with 2 terminals (North and South). There are six concourses. A travelator, which connects the terminals, carries passengers around the airport. Transport to and from the airport include Rapid train services, which depart every four minutes, otherwise there are taxis and car rental facilities.
