From quietly nodding off in the sun, Anaheim sprang into action after the opening of Disneyland in 1955. Today it pulsates with the lifeblood of tourism and offers festivals, excellent shopping, fine dining, and innumerable attractions for adults and children alike. Without a doubt a trip to Anaheim and "The happiest place on earth", as Disneyland is known, is a great crowd pleaser.
