This rather scruffy little town on the Agra Dos Reis, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro state sixty kilometers west of Mangaratiba is the base for visiting the islands in the bay. There are plenty of hotels, restaurants, and bars available to spend time while waiting for your bus or boat.
